Good
Coterie.

Good Coterie originally was the name of an informal gathering of like-minded professionals desperately in need of bad jokes and good food.

Business owners, marketers, CEOs, lawyers, writers, and others occasionally met in my living room, less as a business meet-up and more as an irreverent pep rally, laughing and celebrating accomplishments often overlooked in their workplaces.

The group no longer meets, but the name and the spirit behind it continue to live on through the clients and authors who trust us with their stories and ideas.

I’m Kerrie Ann.

I've spent my career helping leaders, experts, and visionaries articulate what they know, believe, and have built through storytelling. I approach my work with the rigor of an editor, the strategic lens of a marketing professional, and an instinct for capturing authentic voice.

Thanks to my years in marketing and brand strategy, I go further than caring about whether your sentences work. I also focus on whether your book works for you, for your readers, and for your business.  We’ll figure out what makes your perspective unique and how to frame your expertise so it lands with the audience you’re trying to reach.

I've built messaging frameworks, developed positioning strategies, and led creative teams at global corporations. I've produced public television and owned publications. I know how to take complex thinking and make it clear. I know how to find the angle in a crowded market that makes someone say, "Oh, this is different."

And because I understand content strategy, I'm thinking about how your book can extend beyond the page and into keynotes, workshops, articles, and social media. Your ideas can and should keep working for you long after the book is published.

Good Coterie also works with a tight, carefully vetted collective of award-winning ghostwriters and editors. Each has been selected based on both craft and judgment. I’ve worked directly with every collaborator and remain closely involved in all projects, ensuring a consistent level of rigor, professionalism, and care for our authors and their work.

Today, through this iteration of Good Coterie, we are lucky to continue partnering with visionaries, changemakers, and leaders who have something meaningful to say and want to say it well.

“As an entrepreneur, I face challenges every day.

Sure, they’re hard, but I don’t often feel overwhelmed by them. Writing a book, though, surprised me. I expected it to be intellectually demanding, but I wasn’t prepared for the emotional toll.

While writing it, my days were spent running my business, and my nights and weekends were consumed by getting decades of thoughts out of my head and onto the page. Turns out, writing a book is nothing like drafting a newsletter. It’s a marathon of focus, doubt, and persistence.

I’m deeply grateful to Kerrie Ann, who knew exactly when to push and when to let me breathe. Her patience, encouragement, and well-timed nudges carried me through. The result is a book that captures over 25 years of my professional journey—one that’s now inspiring, influencing, and motivating entrepreneurs and business owners across the country.”
